Coast Spring/Summer 2010 Collection

Here is yet another stunning look book for fashion retailer Coast. It's the Spring/Summer 2010 collection and it's just looks great!

The job is printed using a Dali (Neve) cover in 285gsm and with a StarFine Natural White 150gsm text.

The cover is unusual because the flaps of the 8pp cover fold onto the outside of the cover, creating the look of a spine in a three dimensional way (see pic below).

The publication is three-hole-sewn which gives the job a lovely quality and works very well with the "material" type feel of the Dali feltmarked board.

The images which are printed on the StarFine Natural White have worked very well and I guess it would have taken quite a lot of work to get them looking as good as this, but they really are exceptional.

It is yet another lovely job for Coast. Beautifully photographed, designed and printed. An interesting thing to note is that this is not a combination of materials that many people would consider for a job like this and I guess (when it works!) this is what also makes the job special.

Coast A/W 2009

This is a FAAAAAAAANTASTIC job!

It's the Autumn/Winter 09 lookbook for Coast and it's just looks amazing!

The job is printed on OMNIA with an Offenbach Bible wraparound jacket.

Key amazing things are:
1. Solid metallic gold on the cover looks great on the Omnia (as do the images but that goes without saying!)
2. Job is three-hole-sewn which gives the job a lovely quality
3. 6 page cover cleverly holds the Offenbach in place and also covers up the DVD.
4. The jacket/wrap works really well as a poster (quite often on jobs this trick doesn't quite work but on this one it does).
5. .....and it just looks and feels great!

Above is the outside of the wrap, below is the inside.

It is just a really lovely job. Well art directed and designed, great images and good print and finishing.
